General description
Extinction coefficient (265 nm, H2O): 4240 M-1cm-1.
Note: 1 set = 10 x 10 µg.
Photolabile derivative of Ins(1,4,5)P3 that is not biologically active and is not metabolized by endogenous phosphatase (extinction coefficient: 4240 M-1cm-1; 265 nm, H2O). A mixture of two isomers with a cage on either the 4 or 5 position. Can be selectively released by irradiation with a short pulse of light of about 360 nm to produce a concentration jump of Ins(1,4,5)P3.
