General description

This stable-labeled internal standard is suitable for quantification of scopolamine levels by LC/MS or GC/MS for applications in clinical toxicology, food testing, and forensic analysis. Scopolamine, also known as hyoscine, is a naturally-derived medication used to treat postoperative nausea and vomiting and motion sickness. Produced as a secondary metabolite of plants from the nightshade family, this tropane alkaloid is considered a contaminant in cereal-based foods by the European Commission.

For the analysis of the phytotoxins. Tropane alkaloid.
