Ideal for use in Freezers, Refrigerators, Incubators and Ovens. Unit comes serialized with a Statement of Accuracy, indicating accuracy traceable to NIST (USA) and DKD (Europe), 30 mL glass bottle filled with glass beads, built in magnetic attachment, foldaway stand, and Velcro. Individually packaged with multi-language instructions.

  1. Is the Z564222 FRIO-Temp® digital thermometer shipped calibrated?

    1. The SP BEL-ART, H-B FRIO-TEMP CALIBRATED ELECTRONIC VERIFICATION THERMOMETER (-50/200C, -58/392F) is available calibrated for specific applications and equipment. It comes with a certificate of calibration (Catalog No.: B61000-0000, UPC No.: 191634042600) and is designed to verify sample temperatures in freezers, refrigerators, incubators, and ovens. The digital thermometer provides an accurate temperature reading without sample contamination by using the included filled bottle, which mimics the sample. All models include accredited calibration documentation meeting the requirements of ISO 17025 and are tested and calibrated in H-B’s exclusive triple accredited/registered ISO/IEC 17025:2017, A2LA accredited laboratory (Cert #2448.01) against equipment whose calibration is traceable to NIST. Additionally, the product includes multi-language instructions (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish), is individually serialized, and CE marked.

  2. We need to buy a hot thermometer to monitor the temperature inside of a water bath of more than 100 °C. Could you please tell me if we can put the probe of the FRIO temp digital thermometer inside of this hot water bath? Thanks for the support.

    1. This product is suitable for use within a temperature range of -50 deg. C to 200 deg C. The probe for this model comes inserted in a 30ml glass bottle. The glass bottle is filled with glass beads. The entire bottle is placed intact, into the bath, incubator, or oven. See the link below to the manufacturer's product page:
