General description

PYROMAT® IL-6 Control is a recombinant human Interleukin 6 (IL-6) in buffered preservatives, supplied in a lyophilized form. This is used for control reactions in the IL?6 ELISA. The PYROMAT® System is a ready-to-use solution for pyrogen testing, using the Monocyte Activation Test.

Application

The PYROMAT® IL-6 control is to be used with the PYROMAT® System (Monocyte Activation Test for pyrogen detection) for Product Specific Validation to assess that the product does not interfere with the ELISA detection method.

Components

Recombinant human IL-6 in buffered preservatives, supplied in a lyophilized form

Reconstitution

  • Reconstitute the IL-6 Control with endotoxin-free water. The volume of reconstitution can be found on the vial label
  • Vortex during 15 min with gentle agitation prior to making dilution
  • Aliquot if needed: 20 aliquots can be made from one vial
