General description

Visual arrestin is a 48 kDa protein expressed exclusively in retinal photoreceptor cells where it regulates light-dependent signal transduction through G protein-coupled receptor (rhodopsin) activation. Visual arrestin is the major pathogenetic autoantigen in human autoimmume imflammatory eye disease.

Specificity

Visual arrestin. The antibody has not been tested for reactivity to arrestin in other tissues.

Immunogen

Porcine visual arrestin.

Application

Detect Arrestin using this Anti-Arrestin Antibody, visual validated for use in IH, IP & WB.
