Unfortunately, this product has not been sequenced. In general, Ubiquitin is fairly conserved across species. Please see the link below to review a publication that reports that human and bovine ubiquitin are identical:

General description
Ubiquitin is a highly conserved regulatory protein. It is found in all eukaryotic cells and is virtually identical across all forms of life including yeast, humans, and plants. ubiquitin structure contains seven Lys residues and an N-terminus, all of which are target sites for ubiquitination.[1]
Application
Ubiquitin from bovine erythrocytes can be used for in vitro ubiquitinylation assay.[4] The product can also be used as a marker in western blotting.[5]

Could you provide information about potential chemical residue in the product? Specifically, I would like to know if ethanol and/or acetone were used during the isolation and production process. I have detected some candidate adducts from this product and need to exclude the possibility that they originated from an artificial source.
1 answer-
The available testing information is limited to what is provided on the Certificate of Analysis (CofA). The specific method of production is considered proprietary; however, some general information about the production process can be shared. The details are as follows:
The final product should not contain any additives or stabilizers. The process involves overnight dialysis with deionized water to remove any remaining salts or additives. Subsequently, the product is removed from dialysis, filtered, and lyophilized. It is improbable that any ethanol or acetone would remain after the lyophilization process.

I would like to know how this Ubiquitin is expressed and purified.
1 answer-
This product is from bovine red blood cells. It is not a recombinant product. The production process is considered proprietary, however it includes heat treatment as well as purification by chromatography and dialysis.
