m-Cresol is an isomer form of Cresol and is mainly used as an intermediate in the manufacture of chemicals. It is toxic in nature.

Application

It was used as reference standard solution for determination of phenolic compounds in tyrosinase biosensor using amperometric detection under self-assembled monolayers-based bioelectrode flow-injection.
