Its electrochromic and conductive propertiesmake it promising for applications in smart windows, displays, capacitors, andsolid oxide fuel cells. Additionally, it isused as a catalyst in several chemical reactions,including hydroformylation of alkenes and hydrogenation processes. It is alsoused in catalytic converters for automobiles to reduce harmful emissions.
