Poly(methyl vinyl ether-alt-maleic acid) (PMVEMA) is a hydrophilic polymer which is biocompatible with bioadhesive properties. It is an acidic polymer that can be used to improve the stability and zeta potential of polyaniline (PANI) solution.[1][2]

Aplicación

Detergent builder.

PMVEMA can be cross-linked with cellulose whiskers for the formation of nanocomposite films for potential usage in medical and food packaging applcations.[3] It can also be conjugated with polyethylene glycol (PEG) to form hydrogels which can be used in drug delivery systems.[4]
