General description

Native, human chorionic gonadotropin from urine. Glycoprotein hormone synthesized by chorionic tissue of the placenta and found in urine during pregnancy. Also present in body fluids of patients with trophoblastic disease and ovarian tumors. ≥3000 IU/mg (Who 3rd IS 75/537).

Preparation Note

Following reconstitution, aliquot and freeze (-20°C). Avoid freeze/thaw cycles of reconstituted solutions. Stock solutions are stable for up to 3 months at -20°C.
