General description
The Titrisol® reference buffer concentrate for buffer solution acc. to WEISE [for 1000 mL of solution (phosphate), pH=7.20] is analyzed in the ISO/IEC 17025 accredited calibration laboratory with a combined glass electrode and 5-point calibration according to DIN 19268 against a certified primary standard reference material following DIN 19266.
The Titrisol® concentrated buffer material combines ease of use and maximum precision for the routine calibration and monitoring of pH instruments. To prepare the ready-to-use pH buffer solution, simply dilute the Titrisol® buffer concentrate.

Application
- Anthocyanin content analysis: A study highlighted the influence of molar absorbance on the anthocyanin content of foods, utilizing Petunidin 3-glucoside chloride as a standard in analytical methods to ensure accurate quantification in various food matrices. This application is crucial for researchers focusing on food chemistry and polyphenol biochemistry (Chandra Singh et al., 2022).
- Oxygen radical scavenging capacity (ORAC) in cereals: Research on the anthocyanin composition and ORAC of cereals employed Petunidin 3-glucoside chloride to examine its antioxidant properties in purple, black, and common barley, supporting studies in plant pigment analysis and the health impacts of flavonoid compounds (Bellido and Beta, 2009).
Features and Benefits
- Traceable to primary standard reference materials from NIST and PTB
- Analytical standard Grade
- Uncertainty data and traceability are documented in a comprehensive, batch-specific Certificate of Analysis.
