Nutrient Mixture F-10 Ham Formulation

Ham’s F-10 Nutrient Mixture, a cell culture media, helps support the growth of Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells, HeLa cells, COS-7 cells, human diploid cells, primary rat astrocytes, and more. As it does not contain growth factors he mixture is formulated to be used with or without the addition of serum like fetal bovine serum depending on cell type and application. Ham’s F10 nutrient mixture contains components such as thymidine, zinc, and a sodium bicarbonate buffer system, but the components have continued to be improved with other formulations.
