Application

Crotonaldehyde-2,4-DNPH may be used as a quantitative calibration standard, where a multi-component solution is not suitable. It may be used as a precursor for the preparation of crotonaldehyde that can be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in aerosol samples and diesel exhaust emissions by various chromatographic techniques.
