Hamilton^® syringe is available in gas-tight type that minimizes the gas exchange during GC analysis. It gives accurate volume delivery. The plunger is mostly unsurpassed. A knurled hub is used as it makes a leak-tight seal between the barrel and needle.

Application

It may be used in solid phase microextraction analysis showing adsorption for analytes like chlorinated benzenes and polychlorinated biphenyls using silica optical fibers.
