General description

Homeobox protein DLX-1 (DLX-1) is a developmental potein that is localized within the cell nucleus. DLX-1 likely has regulatory roles in the development of the ventral forebrain, craniofacial patterning and morphogenesis, and may be involved in the early development of diencephalic subdivisions.

Linear peptide corresponding to human DLX-1.

Application

Detect Dlx 1 using this mouse monoclonal antibody, Anti-DLX-1 Antibody, clone L43/40 validated for use in western blotting & IHC.

Immunohistochemistry Analysis: A representative lot detected DLX-1 in rat hippocampus tissue (Prof. J. Trimmer, University of California, Davis.).

Western Blotting Analysis: A representative lot detected DLX-1 in whole cell extracts of wild type embryonic day 15 telencephalons and demonstrated a loss of signal in whole cell extracts of embryonic day 15 telencephalons from DLX1/2 knock out mice (Prof. J. Trimmer, University of California, Davis.).
