Specificity

Application
This rabbit polyclonal Anti-Borrelia burgdorferi, Cat. No. ABX48, is tested for use in Immunohistochemistry, ELISA and Western Blotting.
Target description
Borrelia burgdorfer is a gram-negative spirochete, tick-borne obligate parasite whose normal reservoir is a variety of small mammals. It exists in North America and Europe and until 2016 was the only known cause of Lyme disease in North America (Borrelia mayonii, found in the midwestern US, is also known to cause the disease).
