General description

Jumonji domain-containing protein 2D (JMJD2D) is also called Lysine-specific demethylase 4D and JmjC domain-containing histone demethylation protein 3D. JMJD2D is a histone demethylase that specifically demethylates both di- and trimethylated H3 ′Lys-9′, but not monomethylated histone H3 ′Lys-9′ residues. JMJD2D also does not demethylate histone H3 ′Lys-4′, H3 ′Lys-27′, H3 ′Lys-36′ or H4 ′Lys-20′.

Detect Jumonji domain-containing protein (JMJD) using this rabbit polyclonal antibody, Anti-JMJD2D Antibody validated for use in western blotting, IHC & IP.

Immunohistochemistry Analysis: A 1:500 dilution from a representative lot detected JMJD2D in human testis and liver tissues.

Immunoprecipitation Analyis: 20 µg from a representative lot detected JMJD2D in 500 µg of HeLa cell lysate.
