Recognizes LRRK2 [leucine-rich repeat kinase 2, Dardarin]. By Western blot the antibody recognizes a band at ~240 kDa in mouse brain extract. An additional band at ~130-140 kDa can also be seen. On human brain lysate the antibody recognizes a band at ~150 kDa.

Mutations in the leucine-rich repeat kinase 2 (lrrk2) gene are the leading genetic cause of Parkinson's disease (PD). In characterizing the novel ROC domain mutant A1442P, we compared its steady-state protein levels, propensity to aggregate, and toxicity with the pathogenic
Translational control is a crucial component of cancer development and progression. Eukaryotic initiation factor (eIF) 4E mediates eIF4F association with the mRNA
Mutations within the leucine-rich repeat kinase 2 (LRRK2) gene account for a significant proportion of autosomal-dominant and some late-onset sporadic Parkinson's disease. Elucidation of LRRK2 protein function in health and disease provides an opportunity for deciphering molecular pathways important in
