General description
In bioprocess design, the MiniChrom columns can be used to rapidly determine whether a target biomolecule is bound to and can be eluted from the Eshmuno® resin, as well as determine whether an appropriate target yield may be achieved and whether major contaminants could potentially be removed.
MiniChrom columns are designed for process development, method optimization and parameter screening as well as sample preparation. MiniChrom columns are quality checked for HETP and asymmetry, providing superior reproducibility, excellent scalability, convenient comparison of different chromatography media.
MiniChrom columns are made from biocompatible polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) and are available in 1 and 5 mL bed volumes. The 8mm diameter columns allow for scale-up from 1 to 5mL column volumes, with a constant internal diameter. These columns are compatible with any chromatographic work station, HPLC system or peristaltic pump.
