Boc-Gly-OH can be used:
  • For the esterification reaction to synthesize N-Boc amino acid esters for peptide chemistry.[1]
  • For the synthesis of tripeptide H-Gly-Pro-Glu-OH, analogs of neuroprotective drugs.[2]
