  1. Can I keep it at -80 freezer ? or keep my -80 C samples on it?

    1. This is a product of Diversified Biotech. The manufacturer states that this product is designed to be used with ice, or dry ice and may be used at temperatures down to -45 °C. The item has not been evaluated at -80 °C. It is designed to maintain an even temperature due to the quick temperature conducting properties of aluminum. However, it will not hold the freezer temperature independently.

  2. We would like to use this product for a high-temperature dry bath, likely 250 degrees Celsius. Can this product withstand that high temperature? Also, what is the maximum temperature that block can conduct to the test tubes?

    1. This is a solid aluminum block. The melting point of aluminum is over 600 deg C. We have not tested the conduction, but assume it is below the melting point.
