es, this product is suitable for quantitative analysis, such as content or assay tests. The % purity is available on the Certificate of Analysis. The purity is calculated using the following equation:
% purity = (100 - ROI - LOD - H2O - RS) x ((100 - TCI)/100)
Where:
TCI = Total Chromatographic Impurities
LOD = Loss on Drying
H2O = Water content determined by Karl Fischer analysis
ROI = Residue on Ignition
RS = Residual Solvents

I ordered this material to use as a certified reference material for GPC determination. The certificate of analysis has a purity but not an average Mw, Mn or Mp. Can I please get the Mp for this standard so that I can use it for my purpose?
1 answer-
This product is intended for use as a USP, EP, and BP traceable secondary standard in compendial methods. The testing performed is for purity by HPLC, moisture determination, and residue analysis. The agency specific monographs do not include GPC analysis or specifications for Mn, Mp, and Mw. Please see the link below to review a sample of lot specific Certificate of Analysis for a product that may be more suitable for GPC analysis.
