General description

Dichlobenil is classified under the nitrile group of herbicides.

Application

Dichlobenil may be used as an analytical standard for the determination of dichlobenil in:
  • Cereals and dry fruits by QuEChERS (quick, easy, cheap, effective, rugged and safe) extraction and gas chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS/MS) with multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) detection.
  • Food samples by GC-MS/MS with MRM detection.
  • Grape seed extracts by GC coupled to triple quadrupole mass spectrometry (QqQ-MS/MS) equipped with electron ionization (EI) and MRM detection.
  • Wheat flour samples by magnetic solid-phase extraction (MSPE) along with high performance liquid chromatography-diode array detection (DAD).
