General description

Anti-CD44, rat monoclonal, clone A020, recognizes the ~85-95 kDa CD44 protein (gp90) in human and GP85 in mouse. It is validated for ELISA, IF, IP, RIA, WB, and IHC.
Rat monoclonal antibody purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation and DEAE chromatography. Recognizes the ~85-95 kDa CD44 protein.

The antibody specifically recognizes and reacts with a common determinant of the CD44 class of glycoproteins. This antibody has been reported to block the interaction between hyaluronan and CD44 (see application references). Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the proper working dilution.
