General description

Dalapon is a small, water soluble, organochlorine selective herbicide and plant growth regulator used to control perennial grasses. It is mainly used on food crops, including sugarcane and sugar beets.

Application

Dalapon may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in water and soil samples by liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometric detection based on dispersive solid phase extraction and liquid-solid disk extraction and capillary gas chromatography, respectively
