General description

Tung oil is also called china wood oil that can be produced by cold pressing the seeds of tung tree. It can be used as a biodiesel and a drying oil in the production of paints.[1][2]

Application

Tung oil is a plant oil that can be polymerized to produce a variety of products which include pressure sensitive adhesives,[3] self-healed epoxy coatings,[4] polyurethane foam,[5] and vinyl ester resins.[6]
