Coliforms and E.coli are tested as indicators to measure the quality of drinking water. This testing procedure is regulated by the international standard ISO 9308-1, released in 2014, which has been amended in 2018. We will explain the amendment for enumeration of E.coli and coliforms in water with low bioburden, and walk you through the testing workflow.
