PIK3R1 (phosphoinositide-3-kinase regulatory subunit 1) is a pleiotropic gene, that codes for a p85α regulatory subunit of phosphatidylinositol-3 kinase (PI3K). This gene is mapped to human chromosome 5q13.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human PI3-kinase p85-alpha around the phosphorylation site of Tyr607.
Immunogen Range: 573-622
Biochem/physiol Actions
PIK3R1 (phosphoinositide-3-kinase regulatory subunit 1) is known to mediate immune cell differentiation, development and function. Mutations in PIK3R1 gene result in SHORT syndrome, hyper IgM syndrome, lymphadenopathy and short stature.

We have identified that hydrogen sulfide (H2 S), a gaseous mediator, plays a crucial role in antioxidative, anti-inflammatory, and cytoprotective effects on uranium (U)-triggered rat nephrotoxicity. Pyroptosis is a special mode of inflammation and programmed cell death involved in the
