Anti-FOXO1 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total FOXO1 protein.
FOXO1 (forkhead box O1) encodes a forkhead transcription factor that belongs to the Foxo subfamily. It is located on human chromosome 13q14. FOXO1 is abundantly expressed in adult pancreas and partially expressed in pancreatic β cells.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human FOXO1/3/4.
Immunogen Range: 15-64
Biochem/physiol Actions
FOXO1 (forkhead box O1) blocks the separation of cell in fetal pancreatic progenitor cells. It controls the differentiation of adipocyte. It plays a major role in the development and multiplication of β cell. It plays an important role in transferring insulin signaling downstream of protein kinase B.
