Gene Information

human ... DKK3(27122)

General description

Dickkopf-related protein 3, also known as Dickkopf-3, or Dkk-3, or hDkk-3, and encoded by the gene DKK3/ REIC is a member of the dickkopf family. DKK3 is a 350 amino acid secreted glycoprotein that is composed of an N-terminal signal peptide and two conserved cysteine-rich domains, which are separated by a 12 amino acid linker region. This secreted protein is involved in embryonic development through its interactions with the Wnt signaling pathway. The expression of this gene is decreased in a variety of cancer cell lines and it may function as a tumor suppressor gene.

Immunogen

Purified recombinant fragment of human DKK3 expressed in E. Coli

Application

Anti-DKK3, clone 4G7 Antibody is an antibody against DKK3 for use in western blotting & flow cytometry.
Flow Cytometry Analysis: A 1:200-400 dilution from a representative lot detected DKK3 in MCF-7 cells.

Quality

Evaluated by Western Blotting in HEK293, MCF-7 and HL7702 cell lysates.

Western Blotting Analysis: A 1:500-2,000 dilution of this antibody detected DKK3 in HEK293, MCF-7 and HL7702 cell lysates.

Target description

~44 kDa observed. Uncharacterized bands may be observed in some lysate(s).

Physical form

Mouse monoclonal IgG1 ascitic fluid containing up to 0.1% sodium azide.
Unpurified

Storage and Stability

Stable for 1 year at -20°C from date of receipt.
Handling Recommendations: Upon receipt and prior to removing the cap, centrifuge the vial and gently mix the solution. Aliquot into microcentrifuge tubes and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles, which may damage IgG and affect product performance.

Other Notes

Concentration: Please refer to the Certificate of Analysis for the lot-specific concentration.
