Questions

  1. 1) What is the unit of measurement used for these standards (Brix units, Specific Gravity etc)? 2) What is the range that the calibration kit covers? 3) Once reconstituted, how long are these materials good for?

    1 answer
    1. The method of analysis is the refractive index which is measured by an Abbé-type refractometer at a wavelength of 589,3nm at 20°C and 25°C. Stable solutions have a minimum shelf life of 3 years, this kit is supplied ready to use.
