General description

Benzethonium Chloride, a quaternary ammonium drug, exhibits anti-infective, antiseptic and anticancer activities. It is commonly used in various commercial applications including eye and nasal drops, soaps, mouthwash, and cosmetics.

Application

Benzethonium Chloride may be used as a pharmaceutical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in pharmaceutical formulations by chromatography techniques.
