Application

2-Pentanol may be used as an analytical standard for the determination of the analyte in fruits and food products by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) method. It can also be used as an analytical standard for the quantification of volatile analytes in alcoholic drinks by various chromatography techniques.
