Calcein-AM is soluble directly in anhydrous DMSO at 5 mg/mL. However, the stock solution is typically diluted to a range of 0.1-10 µM in buffer or medium for cell staining. It is not recommended to add the DMSO stock solution directly to cells.

Good morning, is it possible to use CALCEIN-AM alone diluited in DMSO for cells observation on scaffolds? In that case, would it be enough to diluite the product directly in DMSO at a concentration of 5 mg/mL? Thank you in advance

¿Condiciones de transporte y almacenamiento?
1 answer-
This product stored at -20°C, but ships at ambient temperature. When there may be short-term exposure (i.e. during shipment) to conditions other than those recommended for long-term storage that will not affect product quality, Sigma-Aldrich will ship at ambient temperature.
