Description

Application

Germanium tetrachloride may be used in the microwave preparation of Ge₂Cl₆, a colorless crystalline material which was included in a further study of low-valent germanium compounds.GeCl₄ may be used in the plasma enhanced vapor deposition of germanium chalcogenide thin films. GeCl₄ in combination with triphenylphosphine may be applied for the reduction of a number of a-bromo carboxylic acid derivatives.
