General description
Oleoyl-L-carnitine belongs to the class of long-chain acylcarnitines, the fatty acyl esters of L-carnitine. Its role as a potential analgesic agent and ability to inhibit the glycine transport by GlyT2 transporter is investigated.
Application
Oleoyl-L-carnitine is used as an analytical reference standard for the quantification of the analyte in biological samples using liquid chromatography coupled to mass spectrometry (LC-MS) technique.
