General description

The bonded phase in Zenix-C SEC columns is more polar than the hydrophilic phase used in Zenix columns, making Zenix-C columns better suited for the gel filtration analysis of more hydrophobic bioopolymers such as membrane proteins and pegylated antibodies. Both Zenix-C and Zenix columns are based on the same high efficiency 3 micron particles and each product line is available in the same wide range of pore sizes to tailor the optimal pore size to the hydrodynamic radius of the biopolymer of interest.

  • Quantitative analysis of nine types of virus-like particles in human papilloma virus bulk by size-exclusion chromatography: This study conducted a quantitative analysis of nine types of virus-like particles (VLPs) in human papilloma virus (HPV) bulk using size-exclusion chromatography (SEC). The Zenix-C SEC-300 Gel Filtration Column, 3 m mu m, was utilized to achieve high-resolution separation of the VLPs. The application of this gel filtration column enabled accurate and reproducible quantification of the VLPs, which is crucial for the quality control of HPV vaccines. The research highlights the effectiveness of the Zenix-C SEC-300 column in biopharmaceutical analysis and quality assurance (Long et al., 2021).
