The OPRD1 (opioid receptor δ 1) encodes for a G-protein-coupled receptor. It is located on human chromosome 1p35.3. It is abundantly expressed in peripheral tissues.
Immunogen
The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human Opioid Receptor-delta around the phosphorylation site of Ser363.
Immunogen Range: 323-372
Biochem/physiol Actions
OPRD1 (opioid receptor δ 1) is characterized with cognitive function and mood-driven behavior. δ-opioid receptor (DOR) is known to be involved in the progression and development of specific malignant tumours. Due to its overexpression in breast cancer, OPRD1 can serve as a novel therapeutic marker.
