Gene Information

human ... TNFSF13(8741)

General description

A proliferation-inducing ligand (APRIL) belongs to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) superfamily and exhibits immunomodulatory functions. Studies have reported that APRIL can regulate the proliferation and survival of B cells. Furthermore, APRIL has been implicated in the pathophysiology of collagen-induced arthritis. Rabbit anti-APRIL, extracellular domain antibody binds to human APRIL by immunoblotting.

Immunogen

synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 67-79 of human APRIL.

Application

Rabbit anti-APRIL, extracellular domain antibody can be used for immunoblotting (4-5 μg/ml) and microarray experiments.
