General description

Thymidine analog. Used for the study of DNA synthesis where it is incorporated into DNA in place of thymidine. Can be used both in vitro and in vivo to label DNA. The resulting DNA can be used in conjuction with BrdU (Ab-2) Monoclonal Antibody (Cat. No. NA20) or BrdU Immunohistochemical System (Cat. No. HCS24) for the immunohistochemical analysis of cell proliferation.

Reconstitution

Following reconstitution, sterilize by filtration through a 0.22 µm filter, aliquot and freeze (-20°C). Stock solutions are stable for up to 3 months at -20°C.
