Hydrogenated egg PC (HPC) is made up of saturated fatty acids.[1]

Application

Hydro Egg PC (hydrogenated egg lecithin) may be used:
  • in vesicles/liposomes for permeability studies to study the effect of MccJ25 on the permeability of phospholipid vesicles[2]
  • to prepare small unilamellar vesicles (SUV) and multilamellar vesicles (MLV)[3]
  • to prepare giant unilamellar vesicles[4]
  • to prepare lipid emulsion to study the effects of phosphatidylcholine (PC) from different sources on intestinal absorption of cholesterol[1]
