Cefditoren sodium is orally available, broad spectrum third-generation cephalosporin antibiotic. Cefditoren sodium is active against both gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. It is commonly used for treatment of chronic bronchitis, community-acquired pneumonia, pharyngitis/tonsillitis, and uncomplicated skin and skin-structure infections.
