General description

Resomer® LG 824 S, Poly(L-lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA), is a semicrystalline, biocompatible, bioresorbable and biodegradable material with high porosity and high surface area. It can be processed by a variety of techniques such as electrospinning, electrospraying and wet spinning.

Application

PLGA can be used in the formation of a membrane for medical applications. It can also be used as a scaffold in tissue engineering.
