General description

The acceptor (mCherry) is a monomeric protein obtained from stony-coral DsRed. It is expressed in the cytoplasm.

Immunogen

Full length mCherry recombinant protein

Application

Suggested starting dilutions are as follows: IHC: Assay-dependent dilution, WB: 1:500-1:3000. Not yet tested in other applications. Optimal working dilutions should be determined experimentally by the end user.

Biochem/physiol Actions

The acceptor (mCherry) possess high photostability and shows resistance to photobleaching. It acts as a good FRET (fluorescence resonance energy transfer) acceptor. mCherry helps in real-time analysis.

The role of tumor protein D54 in breast cancer has not been studied and its function in breast cancer remains unclear. In our previous pharmacogenomic studies using lymphoblastoid cell line (LCL), this protein has been identified to affect metformin response.

Our team of scientists has experience in all areas of research including Life Science, Material Science, Chemical Synthesis, Chromatography, Analytical and many others.
