Biochem/physiol Actions

Amine reactive green fluorescent dye that can be used to label molecules like antibodies, proteins, peptides, and nucleic acids.

BODIPY FL-NHS ester is a versatile amine sensitive fluorescent labeling reagent that can be used to tag antibodies, proteins, peptides, and nucleic acids. BODIPY (boron-dipyrromethene) dyes are known for their excellent photophysical properties, including high fluorescence quantum yield, good photostability, and wide spectral tunability. BODIPY FL has a distinctive absorption peak (excitation) at 503-505 nm and an emission peak at 512-514 nm, resulting in bright green fluorescence. BODIPY FL is used in a wide range of applications, including immunofluorescence, live cell imaging, FRET experiments, and other fluorescence-based studies.

Fluorophores based on the BODIPY scaffold are prized for their tunable excitation and emission profiles, mild syntheses, and biological compatibility. Improving the water-solubility of BODIPY dyes remains an outstanding challenge. The development of water-soluble BODIPY dyes usually involves direct modification

Despite the widely accepted assumption that most endosomal compartments are acidic, evaluation of the efficiency of pH-dependent drug release from a ligand-targeted drug conjugate during receptor-mediated endocytosis is lacking. Therefore, we have characterized the kinetics of pH-dependent drug release from
