General description

SigmaMab Antibody Drug Conjugate (ADC) Mimic, is a non-toxic drug mimic that is utilized as a standard for mass spectrometry and high performance liquid chromatography. The ADC Mimic conjugates SigmaMab (MSQC4), an IgG1 monoclonal antibody, to dansyl fluorophores via an LC-SMCC crosslinker. This dansyl-LC-SMCC attachment serves as the substitution for the toxic payload of a real ADC.

The ADC Mimic allows for safer and more consistent testing, making it the optimal product over real ADCs. It is also a more affordable product compared to real ADCs. With the help of this non-toxic product, LC-MS processes can be developed in a safer environment.

Antibody Drug Conjugate Mimic Enables LC-MS Method Development Without Risk

Here we show how LC and MS methods may be optimized using a non-toxic surrogate of the ADC, an “ADC-mimic”, that behaves very similarly to the Cys-linked ADC Adcetris (Seattle Genetics).
