General description

We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Green Chemistry. The iron catalysts are known to be inexpensive and environmentally benign. Click here for more information.

Application

Iron(III)chloride hexahydrate can be used as a catalyst for the:
  • Esterification of fatty acids and alcohols to synthesize fatty acid esters.
  • Regioselective arylations of α-amido sulfones with electron-rich arenes to synthesize unsymmetrical or bis-symmetrical triarylmethanes via Friedel-Crafts alkylation.
  • Synthesis of acyl azide derivatives by the acylation of sodium azide with N-acylbenzotriazoles.

The uneven conduction between myocardium and fibrotic tissue leads to dys-synchronous contraction, which progresses towards ventricular dysfunction. We synthesized a conductive
