General description

Vitamin B5 (di-β-alanine-13C6,15N2) calcium salt is also known as calcium pantothenate-[13C6, 15N2].
Vitamin B5 (a B vitamin), also known as pantothenic acid, is a water-soluble vitamin found in animal and plant products. Vitamin B5 deficiency causes dyslipidemia (abnormal levels of lipids in the blood) and dermatitis.

Application

Vitamin B5 (di-β-alanine-13C6,15N2) calcium salt can be used as an internal analytical standard to determine the concentration of vitamin B5 in dietary supplements, fortified foods or within a complex biological matrix using different testing applications.
