General description

A versatile nitrocellulose blotting membrane with 0.1 µm pore size. Amersham Protran offers excellent sensitivity, resolution and low background, especially when used with Amersham ECL, Amersham ECL Prime, or Amersham ECL Select Western blotting systems.

Application

Amersham Protran® Western blotting membranes, nitrocellulose is suitable for use in:

  • Southern blotting
  • Northern blotting
