Toughening additive for epoxy polymers.
Additive to urethane foam, cast wheels, coatings, linings and adhesives, at 10-40 wt. %

Features and Benefits

Material is hygroscopic. Inert filler and impact-resistant material. Polar surface groups assist chemical and physical bonding to matrix material. Added to urethanes, polysulfides, nitrile rubber and other polymers to lower cost, improve adhesion and increase impact resistance. Low moisture content allows addition to moisture sensitive materials.

Physical form

Particle surface is oxidized to contain acid groups.
